In Phnom Penh we visit the Royal
Palace, the Silver Pagoda, the National Museum and Wat
Phnom Pagoda. We also venture into the neighbouring
countryside to see some pre-Angkorian temples at the
ancient capital of Angkor Borei. Later at Phnom Chisor
Mountain we have spectacular views over the surrounding
plains. We leave Phnom Penh for Kongpong Thom, stopping
along the way at Kongpong Cham to view some beautiful
examples of colonial architecture and to visit the Wat
Nokor temple. At Siem Reap we spend 4 days exploring the
wonders of the Angkor Complex.
Day 1: Phnom Penh
There will be a tour of the city including the Royal
Palace, the Silver Pagoda, the National Museum and Wat
Phnom Pagoda.

Day 2: Phnom Penh
Depart for Tonle Bati and the temples of Ta Prhom and Yeay
Peau. At Ta Keo we board our boat to Phnom Da stopping
along the way to explore the pre Angkorian Phnom Da
temple, the ancient capital of Angkor Borei and the Phnom
Chisor. We return to Phnom Penh by early evening.

Day 3: Phnom Penh - Kongpong Thom
This morning we leave Phnom Penh for Kongpong Thom. We
visit some more temples and a village for a chance to meet
the locals before arriving at Kongpong Thom late in the
afternoon.

Day 4: Kongpong Thom - Phnom Penh
After breakfast we set out for Sambor Prei Kuk and some of
the area’s temples dating back as far as the 6th century.
After lunch we drive back to the hotel for some
refreshments before returning to Phnom Penh.

Day 5: Siem Reap
A morning city tour including the Killing fields, Toul
Sleng and the Russian Market. After lunch we fly to Siem
Reap. There are no activities planned for the rest of the
day but our guide will outline the itinerary for the
following days over dinner.

Days 6 to 9: Angkor Complex
For the next four days we discover the history, culture
and lifestyle of the ancient Khmer people as we explore
the many wonders including Angkor Wat itself, the largest
ceremonial structure in the world.

Day 10: Seam Reap
We have breakfast at the hotel and enjoy some last minute
shopping before transferring to the airport for your
onward flight.
